The Stephen Sondheim Theatre at 124 West 43rd Street was built in 1918 for the actor-producer Henry Miller, whose name is still on the facade. It was rebuilt below ground behind the landmarked facade and renamed for Stephen Sondheim on his 80th birthday in 2010. It has 1,055 seats.
