Buying Broadway tickets
Broadway has dozens of theatres and ticket prices vary widely. A few simple rules help you get good seats at fair prices.

Book direct
The safest way to buy is from the show’s own website, which links to its official ticket seller, or at the theatre’s box office. Check the exact seat, its view and any fees before you pay.
TKTS by TDF
The Theatre Development Fund, a not-for-profit organisation, runs the TKTS discount booth in Times Square, selling discounted tickets for many Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Check the TKTS app or TDF’s website for what’s available.
Lotteries and rush tickets
Many shows release a small number of lower-priced tickets by digital lottery or as rush tickets on the day. Rules differ by show, so check each production’s official website.
What’s on
The Broadway League’s broadway.org lists every show playing or scheduled, with closing dates. Our Museums & Arts page lists the long-running shows; shows with closing dates are on our What’s On page.
