About Across the Brooklyn Bridge to DUMBO
The classic New York walk: from City Hall Park over the bridge, then down into DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Start at City Hall Park
The pedestrian promenade begins opposite City Hall Park. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
Over the bridge
Walk the raised promenade over the East River, with views of the Statue of Liberty to the south and the Manhattan Bridge to the north.
Start at City Hall Park
Down into DUMBO
Leave at the Washington Street exit for the famous view of the Manhattan Bridge framed by old warehouses, then lunch at Juliana’s or Grimaldi’s.
Brooklyn Bridge Park
Finish on the piers of Brooklyn Bridge Park or the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and take the NYC Ferry back to Manhattan.
