Williamsburg: the back story
The back story

About Williamsburg: the back story
Williamsburg sits on the East River across from the Lower East Side, an easy subway or ferry ride from Manhattan.
Stay
The William Vale, the Wythe Hotel and the Hoxton are Williamsburg’s best-known hotels.
Eat and drink
Peter Luger has served steaks since 1887 (NYC Tourism); Lilia and Aska are among the neighbourhood’s celebrated restaurants, and Westlight is the rooftop bar.
Westlight, on the 22nd floor of the William Vale, looks straight across at Manhattan.
Getting there
Take the L train to Bedford Avenue or the NYC Ferry’s East River route.
Our advice: come for dinner and sunset at Westlight.
